Getting Here

While Telluride is hailed as a secluded destination resort, it’s actually extremely accessible, especially for being nestled at 8,750 feet amid the beautiful San Juan Mountains. Bolstered air service in the past few years makes catching a flight an easy task no matter where you’re coming from.

Telluride is serviced by the Telluride and Montrose regional airports with nonstop travel available from Phoenix, Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Newark, Atlanta, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles and Denver.

Commercial airlines that service the airports include United (www.united.com; 800.241.6522), US Air/America West (www.usair.com; 800.428.4322), Frontier (www.frontierairlines.com; 800.432.1359), Great Lakes (www.greatlakesav.com; 800.554.5111), American (www.aa.com; 800.433.7300), Delta (www.delta.com; 800.221.1212), and Continental (www.continental.com; 800.523.3273).

Note: Telluride utilizes smaller aircraft operations than Montrose; the Montrose Regional Airport is 65 miles from Telluride.
